One might assume that if you’re treating yourself to a relaxing cup of tea every day then you might be doing it right. However, that is not the case all the time. Because there are certain practices that might not be the healthiest and it is important that you watch out for them.

1. Too Much Sugar
First and foremost, you have to cut out the excess sugar if you don’t want it to counteract the positive effects of tea. This does not only increase your sugar tolerance but also increases your chances of developing heart diseases, increased risk of stroke, hypertension, and in some cases, obesity. So, it is necessary to limit your sugar intake, especially if you are habitually drinking more than one cup on a daily basis.
2. More Than Usual
There are those days when your busy schedule means you start craving tea almost every other hour. As bizarre as it might sound, for some people, gulping down a cup after regular intervals is a completely normal thing to do. This increased intake of tea can affect the ability of your body to absorb iron while also increasing your overall stress and anxiety.
