Another day, another crazy trend on TikTok. Until now, only celebrities could walk into a fully-booked restaurant and manage to get a table. But one TikTok user has discovered a way to bypass long lines and waiting times in some of the busiest restaurants with this one trick.
If you've been keeping up with the Kardashians' reality show, you probably know how much the famous clan loves to eat out. Kendall Jenner, despite being distant from the rest of her family, is no different in this regard.
The highest-paid model is often spotted frequenting her favorite restaurant with friends, and even on the busiest days, she manages to get the best spot... because she's Kendall Jenner.
Fans have complained that getting a reservation at one of Kendall's favorite restaurants is near-impossible for impromptu dinners. Customers are advised to call days in advance, and during the busiest season, the waiting time can be up to weeks.
But if you're looking for a quick and easy way to make a same-day reservation at an exclusive restaurant, a TikTok user has found a way to cheat the system.
Using Kendall Jenner's Name
A TikTok user named @nnsummerfield recently started a trend by calling an exclusive Beverly Hills restaurant on a Saturday to book a table for two.
She recorded her conversation with the hostess in which she asked for a reservation, but her request was declined since the restaurant was fully booked for the evening.
However, when she said that the reservation was for Kendall Jenner, the hostess paused to think for a moment before asking how many guests were expected. And just like that, the TikTok user was allowed a table at a fully-booked restaurant just because she said she was Kendall Jenner.
Users in the comments were appalled by the trick, although some thought that it was unfair that the restaurant canceled another customer's reservation just to accommodate Kendall Jenner.
Password Please
Clearly, so many people have tried this hack that restaurants now require a password to allow reservations for famous celebrities.
